Our little Angels
R.I.P. Little ones...
all 8 of the new born boxer puppies who lost their mommy after she gave birth to them have all crossed the rainbow bridge and are now re-united with their mommy. They will live on in our hearts; and all the hearts they touched in their short time with us here on earth.
Ginger- Forever Loved
I am very said to say today we made the very hard decision of putting down Ginger, a 11 yr old Jack Russel that came to the rescue. Ginger belonged to a 93 yr old woman who ended up in the hospital. Her family thought she would be coming out but after two weeks, and Ginger in a boarding kennel they found the news that Ginger's Mommy was never going to come home. None of the woman's family wanted Ginger so she was brought to us. After taking her to the vet, and trying some medications to help with her constant urination, we found it was not working. Ginger would go to the bathroom while walking and not know she was going. After noticing how funny she walked we found out that Ginger's legs were popping in and out of place as she walked. When we took her to the vet today they said we could go through a lot of blood work, try a different medication that would cost $10 a month the rest of her life, IF it worked... At 11 yrs old we didnt want to put Ginger though the poking and prodding of a needle. She had spent the last few weeks of her life moved around alot and let down by family. She had come to find a very soft spot in all of our hearts, I myself called her my little super woman after taking her out to the bathroom and while carrying her she would curl one paw and keep the other straight. But, we can find peace in knowing she has crossed the rainbow bridge and is reunited with her daddy, who passed away, no longer in pain.
